Built from blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it is durable, UV-protected, and impact resistant. The High Initial Stability Hull was designed to defy the tippy canoe stereotype while retaining dependable on-the-water performance through tracking channels and an innovative skeg wheel design. The skeg wheel and luggage-style handles assist with transportation. For those looking for a performance boost, the Lifetime Kodiak is rated for use with an electric motor with a thrust rating of 40 lbs. Simply assemble the included motor mount bracket, attach your motor, and hit the water. Three molded-in seats provide additional floatation and seating. The bow and stern seats have quick release seat backs that are comfortable, adjustable, and removable. The front seat has molded-in cup holders. The middle seat has rod holders for fishing.
